Laser Therapy

Therapeutic Lasers (low level laser therapy aka cold lasers)  work by supplying energy to the body in the form of billions of photons of light. The body absorbs this laser light on a cellular level and transforms it into chemical energy, which the body then uses to commence its own tissue repairs.

The bio-stimulating effect of cold laser therapy causes an elimination of pan, decrease in inflammation and an increase in tissue regeneration and healing. Innovations are backed by over 3000 clinical studies world wide that have proven the success of therapeutic laser in the healing of neural muscular skeletal conditions. It works by sending a targeted concentration of light several centimeters below the skin’s surface. This light delivers energy to the cell, increasing the production of the chemical ATP. Research show that ATP plays a critical role in helping cells repair damage. When soft tissues are injured, the lack of oxygen other nutrients can slow the healing process. By stimulating the production of ATP, cold laser stimulates internal healing. This helps to reduce inflammation, and increases the speed in which the body soft tissues naturally repair injury damage. It’s a safe and effective treatment to help “kick-start” the healing process.

Laser Therapy technology is endorsed in the professional sports circuit by such notables as the: Toronto Blue Jays, Toronto Raptors, Toronto FC, Washington Wizards, Jacksonville Jaguars, Carolina Panthers and Montreal Canadians.
